Huseyn Mehrzad is a writer and director who has pursued his passion for filmmaking through various educational and professional experiences. Following this, he completed a two-year filmmaking course at the Iranian Youth Cinema Society, which included script writing, photography, directing, filming, and editing. From 2012 to 2018, he studied film directing at the University of Applied Science and Technology No 11 in Tehran.

Mehrzad has been involved in various cinematic activities, including involving in more thAN 50 SHORT FILMS AS CREW AND BACKSTAGE STAFF AND directing and writing films such as “Reptile,” “Dirty-To-Creep,” “Confessions,” and “Mental Secretions” HIMSELF.

He started photomontage and editing in 2015 from normal pictures in the internet to photography alongside with editing and publishing many award winning masterpieces in the year of 2018.

In his personal statement, Mehrzad reflects on his childhood, his passion for cinema, and his journey to becoming a writer and director. He describes how his love for cinema began with watching DVD movies with his brother and how he eventually pursued his passion for storywriting through writing and directing. He expresses his desire to create meaningful and impactful stories through his work in the film industry.
